This ultra simple jig converts a trim router into a precision hand plane, enabling you to remove a measured amount of stock from a wooden surface. It is especially useful for planing one surface flush with another. For example, glue wooden trim to the edge of a piece of laminate-covered plywood, then plane the trim flush to that surface without harming the laminate!
