This simple-to-make table turns your drill press into a capable woodworking tool. Presses are handy in any shop, but they are designed primarily for metalworking. This fixture increase the size of the table to support large wooden parts; it tilts front-to-back to make angled holes; and it provides a fence and stops to help align and guide the work. Plus, the fence and table can be configured to form a V-jig to drill round stock, the fence profile can be easily changed to work with small bits, and you can store the fence by mounting it under the table.
